This a sponsored opportunity on behalf of Cambria Hotels, all views and opinions are my own.
Hey babes! I’m so excited to share all of the details about my recent Blogger Shuffle with BlameItOnmei and Cambria Hotels . We swapped places for a few days so I could take in the sights and sounds of Ft.Lauderdale as she visited St.Petersburg/Tampa!
Together, we shared all of our favorite places to eat and things to do in our hometowns so both of us felt prepared to explore!
Here’s a look at how I experienced Ft.Lauderdale and where you should stay and play as you plan your next vacation!

The Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach is just steps away from the Atlantic Ocean, offering picturesque views and convenient access to The Strip, the city’s popular waterfront promenade with dining and retail options.
Not to mention, the hotel is also near the Broward County Convention Center; Port Everglades, one of the world’s busiest cruise terminals; Hugh Taylor Birch State Park; Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park; and Bonnet House Museum & Gardens.
Though I’ve been fortunate enough to call Florida home for almost two years, I’ve finally found the time to visit beautiful Ft.Lauderdale!
On day one, we checked into the gorgeous, Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach, conveniently located near some of the area’s top attractions, shops and restaurants.
When you walk in, you’ll see the spacious entry way, clear access to the bar, seating area and check-in desk.
The hotel features amazing indoor and outdoor spaces for productive work or relaxation, an outdoor pool and rooftop bar with stunning ocean views, and locally inspired design décor!
During the trip we stayed in the king suite with a balcony view.
I love how modern the room is with under bed lighting. Such a unique touch!
I also love the beachy aesthetic framed photos that lined the headboard of the bed.
Such a cool back story about the Cambria Estate Winery’s Julia’s Pinot Noir in my room. Cambria Hotels collaborated with Cambria Estate Winery to offer its Julia’s Vineyard Pinot Noir and its Katherine’s Vineyard Chardonnay at Cambria Hotels restaurants and bars across the country, as well as in the self-serve marketplace.
You can order a glass of Cambria Estate Winery’s Julia’s Vineyard Pinot Noir or Katherine’s Vineyard Chardonnay at the bar or restaurant or bring a bottle back to your room.
While getting ready for the day to explore, I would blast my favorite jams and listen to season two of Cambria Hotels’ podcast Travel Inspired with Cambria Hotels through the built-in Bluetooth speakers. So cool and convenient and it was super easy to set up on my iPhone.
It’s important to note, that all Choice-branded hotels are participating in Commitment to Clean , an initiative that builds upon a long-standing dedication to cleanliness with enhanced training and best practices for cleaning, disinfecting and social distancing, and can help give you peace of mind when you choose to travel again.
Before you book your stay at the Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach, please call the hotel to confirm which amenities are available.
I loved being able to have such ample space in the suite, easy access to work from the desk area and take in the beach/city sounds from the balcony.
Wine and a view… yes please!
The hotel pool is card entry, has a jacuzzi, great downtown views, and ample space to sit out, relax, and unwind poolside.
There are so many options on the Cambria menu for breakfast and dinner and even happy hour!
For dinner I ordered the Margherita flatbread and the Cast Iron Snickerdoodle Cookie. Sooo yum!
For breakfast I ordered the omelet, pancakes, and toast. Yum!
There’s also a 24/7 marketplace, perfect for those moments where you want to grab food on the go or a late night snack. You have options!
Sights and Sounds
Not only do I love the amazing accommodations at the Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach but this experience affords me the opportunity to explore the area and with the help of a local expert. How cool is that?!
So here’s a look at some of the places I went to while on vacay in Ft. Lauderdale.
When visiting Ft.Lauderdale you have to try their Riverfront gondola tour (1200 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301) for a magical tour through the breathtaking canals of Fort Lauderdale, the Venice of America!
I loved this experience. It is such a cool way to see the area on the water. Plus the option to order dinner from Casa Sensei was perfect as I was able to dine during the tour.
You can click here for details of where to park.
The gondola tour was amazing, not to mention the homes by the water are so immaculate and have the coolest back stories. Our tour guide was super knowledgable about the homeowners, designs, and more.
10/10 recommend this experience when visiting Ft. Lauderdale.
Can’t visit Ft.Lauderdale without stopping by Las Olas Boulevard , known as the city’s Premier shopping and dining destination within the upscale community of Las Olas Isles and Fort Lauderdale Beach.
There are so many great places to check out and shop! If you’re driving and need a place to park you’ll have plenty of options along the entire length of the Boulevard. Or, you can visit by taxi, ride-share services like Lyft or Uber, or consider Fort Lauderdale’s famous Water Taxi, which looks pretty cool, too!
During my stroll of the Blvd. I stopped into a local shop called South Moon Under.
For a sweet treat you have to visit Sloans at Lauderdale by the beach.
It’s a well-known spot locally and has the cutest hot pink decor and small items for you to buy as a keepsake from your trip too.
I ordered their ice cream Sundae with sprinkles and birthday cake ice cream.
Great treat to enjoy on a hot summer day!
Fun fact, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a town in Broward County, just a little over 30 miles north of Miami.
Nearby is where you’ll find bars, dining, live music, shopping, and of course the beach!
As you plan your trip to Ft Lauderdale some other fun spots to check out…
Until next time...
