Hey babes! If you couldn’t tell from my last trip to Puerto Rico that I love visiting San Juan and with each trip I feel as though I find a new element to admire that lures me back to the island.

My recent trip to PR was filled with luxury and I am dying to share the experience with you as you plan your next vacay!

What You Should Know Before Visiting Puerto Rico

  • Currency: American Dollars
  • Language: Spanish, but English is widely spoken
  • Best time to go: May, June
  • Electric: U.S. ( no need to bring a converter)
  • Tap water is safe to drink
  • No Passport required for U.S. citizens

How to get there

We flew into San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín Airport from Florida and it was a short flight, less than 3 hours tops. We then grabbed an uber ride from the airport to the hotel.

Final thoughts...

Overall my time at OLV was pleasurable. Any mishaps or issues experienced were immediately brought to the managers attention and were attended to in a timely fashion.

the A/C system in our room had issues with keeping the room cool, no matter how many times a staff person came the room, the temp never changed and the manager was kind enough to offer us a late check out.
